Best dealer service department around in my opinion

Fast, friendly and professional service, as always.

Always super nice and honest.

Service department is well run. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous. Always a pleasure dealing with them.

Service was completed for replacement of a bad valve body. The day after I picked it up the battery was dead. After a weekend without the truck I'm told a bad tailgate switch is to blame. Now there's a distinct rattle/vibration noise when accelerating coming from the transmission. The truck is two years old with 23000 miles and these aren't the first issues with it. I've had eight GM trucks but quality control seems to be secondary these days. Do better!

Since 2019 we have purchased 2 vehicles from Kring!! Both r still running and my sedan has over 200,000 miles on it go impala! Quick lube team has been awesome over the years to help keep them on the road. Thanks again service.. Cheaper there then any of the dealerships in TN and KY

I bought my Silverado at Dave Kring. Outstanding dealership. I was in Gulf Shores, Alabama two weeks ago and had a "short" in the electronic tailgate feature. It cause my whole system to drain and when I tried to start my vehicle, it was dead. Needed road service twice to get a jump, and I ended up buying my own portable jump and used it several time down south. I tried to make an appointment with a Chevy dealership down there, and was told it would be two weeks even though I had an emergency so to speak. I called Dave Kring. They were very empathetic to my problem and asked when I would return up north. I told them Sunday the 16th. They asked my to come in first thing Monday the 17th. Immediately made room for me, and fixed the problem in less than an hour. This is worth a lot to me, and I will look to buy my next truck from Dave Kring. Great Service! Great Attitude!

Fast and efficient

The torque converter on my 2019 Silverado failed after only 32,000 mile, luckily I had purchased a GM Protection Plan. My Service Manager Chad Gaskill was instrumental in persuading the GMPP to cover the costs of the repair. Parts had to be ordered but Dave Kring provided me a 2025 Silverado to use while my vehicle was in the shop. The total bill was over $3,300 dollars but my co-pay was only $635. Without Chad's involvement and follow-up this might have ended badly. I would recommend Dave Kring Chevrolet and Chad Gaskill for taking care of their customers.

The only reason I didn't give you a five star rating is because it would be nice if you included a free car wash at the end of the service. It was a services provided by the several service departments downstate before we permanently moved up. It's not a big deal, but it would be a nice add-on, especially when the weather cooperates.

Chad in customer service did a great job. He even called a day or two later to see if the problem was fixed. So his work and the work of the service department was excellent. To the contrary, we feel GM has put out an inferior product. The truck has 22,000 miles and already the transmission has problems. Rather than tell us they will stand behind the product, we were informed that the faulty transmission is out of warranty later this year and then it is our problem. Really, that is how you engender customer loyalty?

Quick Oil Change line is convenient and usually expedient. They do a quick review of all fluids and ask about wiper performance. More convenient than an appointment with regular service

My radio stopped working and now I’m on my fourth trip to the dealership to get it fixed. I have a truck that I use for my business. No truck no business!! I get a lot of I’m sorry but it doesn’t replace the time I’m losing for not being on the job!

Dealership integrated and unsuccessfully implemented Tec ion, which I am sure this is to enhance customer experience and help drive revenue withmore efficiency, however it did just the opposite in my case, as drove my vehicle and dropped off on 9/15 -5:00 pm, keys handed directly to staff, in hopes of expediting the service order. and was quoted it would be done 9/18 should all parts be in stock. called Kring on 9/17 left VM, no return call received, I again reached out to service asking specifically for the service manager this time as I was unstratified I had not received any updates on the truck,. left VM with Theron, My weekend plans of towing a boat and hauling firewood would be detrimentally affected should the truck not be done, hence I was forced to change my priorities. Finally on 9/19 I was contacted by Theron, only to be told, that they did not start any of the diagnosis, or repairs necessary, however they had a mechanic scheduled for Saturday, and his focus would be on my truck. My vehicle which was still fully operational, it was scheduled for service midweek , based on my calendar, I could be without the truck thru Thursday. however, It would be needed for my weekend plans. After a mis-diagnosis of a wheel bearing, later it was found to be the opposite side bearing, both were replaced Theron waved all parts/labor charges on the unnecessary bearing replacement, however no consideration was given on any other aspects of the bill. All shop labor was billed at 95/hr. There was no discounts or write offs to show for the time the truck sat at the dealership, without attention. Theron was very apologetic with the oversight of the lost work order. I had time lost on important activities, due to your Service Shops error. one wheel bearing, an interior trim fitting and troubleshoot inoperable A/C unit - truck was in Kring's possession for 8 days. 1 of which was a Sunday, so understandably no work is performed. Here is my issue: My time has value, and I will consider another location for future GM repairs,

Oil/Filter change. Quick and easy. Good staff. One issue trying to use coupon from Krings to save $$$ on oil change. They knew nothing about it. So that was disappointing. Other than that it was painless and easy. Please advise if there is anything that can be done with that coupon. Or what I may need to do prior to attempting to redeem it. Took my truck in for regular maintenance work. Wanted rep to look into rubbing noise in the drivetrain. It's been getting louder and hard to ignore. Service rep said it was my rear brakes. Brakes alone were over $850, my total bill was over $1,400. I get the truck back and the rubbing noise is still in the drivetrain.

Took my truck into the body shop and they did an immaculate job as always.

Engine replaced good so far . Dropped my truck off the lift but we’re honest and told me about it .i think only damage was the running board.ty for replacing them. Accidents happen !

I would of given 5 stars but on Thursday, October 23rd I stopped by to get an oil change and had to wait a while because they had to go get a filter for the car that was being serviced so it took about 1/2 hour to get in.

They do everything right! From the moment you come in to the wait along with the the cashier, and service people. All great!

Came in for oil change. Service was fine. Unsure if fluids were topped off. Cost seemed low and was not there 10-15 minutes. Tire pressure not checked.

The level of care Theron and his team at Dave Kring were really quite impressive. I work in a dealership (sales manager) and unfortunately the level of service from our service department doesn’t even come close to Dave Kring. I was honestly a bit frustrated when it took 7 weeks to get the repair done but also understand that at an early stage GM themselves were orchestrating the next steps to try to find a solution. Theron stayed with me the entire time and also expressed his frustration in getting me my truck back. I honestly wouldn’t ever go anywhere else with my trucks.

I have had a problem with the radio cutting out and sometimes not shutting off when the door is opened after turning truck off, radio was changed twice. Still cutting out and not turning off at times. Going back in for radio control module sometime, waiting on call from dealer.

Everything went smoothly there from the first time I had looked on your website at a certain vehicle that I saw on your lot. On time done correctly the first time

Came in to buy a set of Michelin’s for my truck, but after talking to Forest he suggested that a set of Hankooks was a better value for my dollar. Think it’s a better tire for the my purpose and he saved me a few dollars.

After a bout of "my truck isn't holding the road as it should" and a service advisory taking it for a test drive and the quick drive-through-test/scan and the front end was indeed out of alignment. An alignment was scheduled along with a new set of winter tires ordered. A nice deal on the tires with a GM discount didn't hurt. The new tires were installed and the alignment performed and the truck rides and drives like new.

I brought my car in on Saturday with a traction abs issue . Service write up scanned and wrote a report on what they found . Traction light went out . They set me up an appointment for the nest week. . I thought ice or snow was the problem . Sunday the light came on again . I took it to Auto Zone . They scanned and cleared code . Light never came on again . I called service and they said I should bring it in again. They said no problem found and charged me $88. I bought this car from you 6 weeks ago . I was told it had a GM Certifided car warranty . I assumed this was a no charge repair . I can afford the $88. Money isn’t the issue . I will look around for an auto repair company .

Great dealership. My go to for service when at my house in northern Michigan. Needed a sensor for my Traverse and made an appointment. Service advisor made sure the part I needed was in stock prior to my appointment. Very courageous staff and great coffee and donuts.

I recently bought a 2026 chevrolet Silverado from Dave Kring Chevrolet and the service department installed sidesteps, mudguards, and wheel well liners. I live 70 miles from the Kring dealership. As I was driving near the dealer in late afternoon, the "Check Engine" light came on. I stopped at Kring and Don Crandel was able to get the problem repaired within an hour saving the need for a return trip. That was outstanding service!

The dealership is great. My truck is the problem.I bought this in September so I would have a reliable vehicle.to go to Florida in February. I’ve been waiting months for my transmission to be fixed. What I’d like is a buy back. So I can have a reliable vehicle. Not this lemon. The trans isn’t the only problems.

I’ve always bought my vehicles at Dave Kring Chevrolet because of their personalized sales and service. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else!

I was charged $171 for nothing. The message about break sensor needing service is BS. All it meant was my brake pads are getting low. I could have gone to my regular mechanic and he would have diagnosed the sticking selinoid for free. I will never take a vehicle there that is not under warranty.

Oil change took an hour this time don’t understand why. Overall a good experience as usual.
